History and Milestones
In 1985, with an untapped market for international brands of cosmetics and perfumes in Iran, Mr Malek Jafarzadeh Moghaddam established the first Meisam Atr perfumery in Tehran, giving birth to what is now recognized as the leading Group in distribution and retail of selective cosmetics and perfume brands throughout the country.
In 1999, Meisam Atr Azad Chabahar Co. was established for distribution of renowned international cosmetics brands throughout Iran. Since then, Meisam Atr Azad Chabahar Co. has succeeded in acquiring exclusive distribution of major international cosmetics and perfumes brands in Iran.
In 2010, MA Retail Co. was established for management and development of MA Chain Perfumeries which by then had been recognized as the leading chain of selective perfumeries in Iran benefiting from the most prime and luxurious locations in the country.
In 2011, Cerruti 1881 stand-alone boutique was opened in Tehran - Iran by MA Retail Co. marking strong entry of Meisam Atr in international fashion retail business. The following year, in 2012, Tru-Trussardi boutique was opened in Tehran to further strengthen Meisam Atr fashion retail business.
In May 2016, Beaute Paradis Co. was created to represent the world’s major selective and niche cosmetics and perfume brands as their distributor in Iran.
In January 2016, the first store from second cosmetics chain store concept, SHEBER, was opened in Palladium shopping center in Tehran – Iran by MA Retail Co. With a smart selection of best-selling color cosmetics brands SHEBER stores will focus on becoming ultimate destination for customers of mass-market, mid-priced, and entry level selective color cosmetics brands in the country.
In October 2020, Meisamatr Fragrances Inc. was incorporated in Ontario, Canada to operate as a perfume and other beauty products wholesaler from its partner brands. This company would strive to become the leading player in distributing major international beauty products and perfume brands not just in Ontario but throughout Canada.
Today Meisam Atr is known as the leading player in distribution and retail of major international cosmetics and perfume brands in Iran, and it always strives to reach to new heights in excellence and perfection in our activities.
